This seminar will be led by Gábor Mihály Tóth, lead author of the article ‘Studying Large-Scale Behavioral Differences in Auschwitz-Birkenau with Simulation of Gendered Narratives‘, the winning entry of the 2023 Richard Deswarte Prize in Digital History. In the seminar, Tóth will discuss the origins, development, and findings of the paper.

The Richard Deswarte Prize in Digital History, founded in memory of the Digital History seminar’s longtime convenor, celebrates the best of digital history internationally. Prizes are awarded annually with submissions considered by an international panel of judges.
